Tomorrow marks the Fourth Sunday of Easter, also known as “Good Shepherd Sunday”. In the Gospel of John, Jesus says, “I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd” (John 10:14-16).

In this passage, Jesus reaffirms us that we are one family in Him. We belong to Him, and He loves us. In fact, He loves us so much that He endured suffering and death so that we all could be found and brought home.

During these times, remember that Our Savior is a shepherd that offers care, guidance, and protection. He has been with us thus far, He is with us now, and He will be with us “always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20).
