Ever since the Fall into sin, the world has been in need of peace. Sin immediately affected the marriage of Adam and Eve, family relationships between brothers like Cain and Abel, and eventually relationships between nations. How desperate is our need for peace.
Most of all, we are in need of peace with God. Our sins tear away at that relationship. We desperately need Him to come to us with His grace and mercy.
May the Spirit of the Lord come upon us today in a fresh way as God does His work in our hearts and lives.
