Christ Jesus is our hope! Ever since Adam and Eve rebelled, the hope of the world rested on the One whom God promised would come to crush the power of Satan and of sin. When God promised Abraham a descendant who would be the hope of the entire world, against all hope he had hope and believed the promises of God. Knowing that Christ our Savior has come, we live in hope: hope of His faithfulness when we are troubled and distraught, and hope of an eternal life when we reach this life’s end. How happy we can be when that time comes. We will be with all who have put their hope and confidence in Christ Jesus.
