Worship at Ascension offers variety of styles, all faithfully filled with Scriptural content and liturgical components. Holy Communion is offered in all weekend services.
Saturday Evening / 5:30pm
A simple, liturgical service, perfect as an alternative for those who are unable attend worship on Sunday mornings.
Sunday Morning / 8:30am
A traditional service, using the historic liturgy of the church in its various forms.
Sunday Morning / 11:00am
An upbeat service, with a simple liturgical structure and music led by “The Living Stones,” a band consisting of guitars, keyboard, drums, and vocals.
Fifth Sundays at Ascension
When there is a fifth Sunday of the month all weekend services include a “rite of healing” for anyone in need of spiritual, emotional, or physical health.
The Ascension Choir
Ascension Choir meets for rehearsal Sunday mornings (Labor Day through Memorial Day) at 8:00 am. You do not have to audition, you just need to love to sing praises to the Lord. All absences are excused, and as always, family comes first. The choir sings at the 8:30 a.m. worship service three times a month. The Ascension Ringers (Bell Choir)
Ascension Ringers is Ascension’s Bell Choir. The Ascension Ringers rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. (Labor Day through Memorial Day).
