Growing the Faith of Young Believers in Jesus
Sunday School (Ages 2-5): This week in Sunday School our lesson covers how through Adam, sin spread to all people. Through Christ, God offers forgiveness to all people. Our take-home point is God forgives my sins for Jesus’ sake.
Elementary School (Grades 1-4): God creates Adam & Eve: On the 6th Day, God created man.
Middle School (Grades 5-8): Kings of Israel (Part Two). Memory Verse: 2 Chronicles 15:2.
High School (Grades 9-12): Our youth meet every Sunday morning at 10am in Zehnder Hall for Bible Study and Sunday evenings in the youth room in Zehnder Hall from 6-8pm.
This weekend’s Bible Study in Ephesians focuses on Ephesians 6:21-24 with the theme ‘We are at peace in Christ’. Question for the week: What does peace mean to you and what does God’s peace look like? We will explore the importance of God’s peace and how that translates to our daily lives.
Youth (grades 9-12) continue to collect school items for backpacks that will help families that visit our Manna Pantry get through the school year. The list of items includes: crayons, colored pencils, markers, folders, coloring books, index cards, pencil pouches, tissue packs, lined paper, #2 pencils, pens (black/blue), highlighters, binders, mints, and $10 gift cards (Publix, Subway, etc.). This list is also located in the narthex and on the table in the hallway of the Seaman Center. Thank you in advance for you generosity!
