Sunday School (Ages 2-5)
God Shows Samuel Who the King is” – God tells Samuel to anoint one of Jesse’s sons as the next king. Samuel sees Jesse’s oldest son and thinks he must be the one God has chosen. But God looks at the heart, not outward appearance. God helps us see people through His eyes, and He helped Samuel see that the next king would be Jesse’s youngest son, David.
Elementary School (Grades 1-4)
This week we will read and re-enact the story of Naomi and Ruth. Ruth decides to go with Naomi to her hometown and promises to be a loyal friend. They help each other through difficult times. God gives us friends, just like he gave Naomi a good friend in Ruth. We thank the Lord for our friends!
Middle School (Grades 5-8)
