T-Shirt Quilt Making
Captain: Mary Ann Massoll
Time/Place: Tuesday mornings at 9:00 am in Zehnder Community Room
If you have an interest in making a T-shirt quilt, you may be interested in joining the Crafty Quilters group on Tuesday mornings as members work through this project. We invite you to start your quilt beginning August 16 at 9:00 am in Zehnder Community Room. Bring the T-shirts you wish to put into your quilt. Nine or 12 shirts make a good quantity for your first project. This Tuesday, you will be shown how to cut the shirts. Another necessity is a fusible stabilize to keep the fabric from stretching. This is available at Joann Fabrics. Ask for stabilizer 911FF and get half a yard for each shirt. If using nine shirts, get 4.5 yards, and if using 12 shirts, get six yards. Bring your shirts, your scissors, and a smile and we’ll work through this together. More information: Mary Ann Massoll, firstname.lastname@example.org or 407-321-1681.
