Early Childhood EducationOur Mission & Purpose: The Early Childhood Program at Ascension Lutheran is here to provide your child with: the best possible care; a loving environment; a healthy, safe opportunity to interact; and a positive learning experience. These goals will be met in a Christian environment that will demonstrate God’s love to your child and to you, the parent. Children learn best by being actively involved in their environment. Through a wide variety of hands-on experiences, each child will have an opportunity to explore, experiment, use creativity, solve problems, expand the imagination and develop self-expression. Through small and large group activities, children will learn cooperative social and work skills. Spiritual development is incorporated into our program on all levels. Specifically, the children will have an opportunity to grow in awareness of Jesus in their lives through daily devotions, prayers, chapel services and the informal references to Christian living in daily activities.
